Romantic Asahikawa

Destinations: Sapporo/Asahikawa/Biei

After school, two students were sitting at Asahikawa Station, spreading out their textbooks and notebooks, chatting away. It felt like watching the essence of a Japanese youth drama. I finally understood the unique Japanese sentiment that I had only seen on social media. In Korea, there was a time when such moments were called 'romantic.' This trip brought back the long-forgotten feeling of romance locked away in my heart. 🙂

📌 Useful Tips
1. If you're renting a car to visit Biei, opt for a model slightly above the compact car level. In winter, the snow seems to cushion road shocks and noise, but in summer, the asphalt transmits them directly, which can make driving more tiring.
2. You can make U-turns anywhere unless there's a 'No U-turn' sign.
3. Traffic signals between Asahikawa and Biei are short.
