#Romania #Brasov #BlackChurch

🚇Transportation strategy:

CFR (Romanian National Railway), Flixbus (international bus)

🏰Must-see attractions:

Brasov Council Square (Piaţa Sfatului)
In the city center of Brasov, the Council Square is where the market is held. The building in the center of the square is the City Council. There are many medieval buildings of different architectural styles around the square.

The Black Church
A landmark of Brasov, the church is a Gothic building and one of the important Lutheran churches in Romania. Every Sunday, a group holds a worship service here.

The Rope Street
The Reeperbahn is the narrowest street in Brasov. It is considered one of the narrowest streets in Europe. The walls on both sides of the street are covered with graffiti of various colors. If you look up in the street, you can see the Hollywood sign of Brasov.

Catherine
Built in 1559 for defense, replacing the destroyed old city gate, it is the only city gate that survived from the Middle Ages.
The four small corner towers symbolize the city's judicial autonomy and its power to impose the death penalty, and above the entrance is the city's coat of arms: an oak trunk and roots, currently a museum.

🍖Must-eat food:

CH9 Specialty Coffee
The cafe is decorated in a very retro and fashionable style. The coffee is of good quality. There is also a dessert cabinet where you can choose small cakes. The overall environment makes people relax and enjoy the afternoon.

🛍️Shopping Guide:

This visit to Brasov happened to be during the Easter holiday, and a market was held on the Council Square. There were many stalls selling local handicrafts, which could be purchased as souvenirs, and there were also many agricultural products that could be bought and tasted.

Brasov's attractions are relatively concentrated and can basically be reached on foot. You can also take a local guided tour to learn about Brasov's history. It is recommended to stay in this city for a day to appreciate the beauty of Brasov☺️
