📍 Budva Old Town — Where History Meets the Sea
My first day in Budva began with a walk through the Old Town, and it felt like stepping into a storybook. Nestled on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro, Budva’s Old Town is easily reached on foot from most hotels in the city center or by taxi from the bus station.
🏰 What to See & Do
Wander through its narrow stone alleys, admire ancient walls, visit the Citadel for panoramic sea views, and discover hidden cafés tucked between old churches. Every corner holds a touch of history and Mediterranean charm — especially at sunset, when golden light fills the streets.
☕ Food, Shopping & Pro Tips
Stop at seaside restaurants for fresh seafood and local wine. Try buzara (shrimp stew) — a coastal favorite. The Old Town is small but magical after dark, when it’s quieter and lanterns light the way. Wear comfortable shoes — cobblestones have seen centuries of travelers.
