Gamcheon-dong Culture Village｜The colorful fairy tale world of Korean Machu Picchu

Gamcheon-dong Culture Village is located in Saha District, Busan, and is one of Busan’s famous tourist attractions. This was originally a gathering place for refugees during the Korean War, and residents began settling here in the 1950s. As time went by, after the 1990s, with the joint efforts of the government and art groups, this old community was transformed into a colorful art village, giving the originally quiet mountain city a brand new look.

There are some hanbok rental shops, but the makeup, hair and clothing quality is rather ordinary. If you want to take formal hanbok photos, it is recommended to find a professional location.
It is recommended to arrange a half-day tour, which is just right for leisurely strolling and taking photos.
