Like the Gamcheon-dong Cultural Village, Baiqiantan is also a cultural and creative community transformed from a former gathering place for Korean War refugees. Unlike the well-known Gamcheon-dong, Baiqiantan has a more quiet feeling.
It is recommended to take a taxi. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from Nampo via Yeongdo Bridge. It is very comfortable to walk along the coastline. There are also many clean public toilets along the way, which is very friendly!
The most densely populated cafe in Baiqiantan is in Gamcheon-dong. There is a whole row of cafes on the coast that are very cute, which makes you have a bit of a choice. However, I suggest you stay in two cafes. Each of them has a sea view. The first row is really comfortable.
There are also special foot bath cafes to choose from, where you can drink beverages while soaking your feet! It's also very good to take pictures along the way📷
