Yongdusan Park, Busan

My original intent was to visit the nearby ArtBox store, in search of a souvenir. I was not planning on visiting this park. But the steep escalator at the entry intrigued me.

After a five minute escalator ride, I came to the entry of this free park, and discovered…cats? There were perhaps five stray cats I saw. All were friendly yet unobtrusive. After a 15 minute walk, I was at the summit. There is a duty-free shop and tower at the summit.

What was originally intended as a run to a souvenir store turned into a two-hour detour. But during travel, it is the detours that can be the most enjoyable moments.
