During my few days in Busan, instead of cramming my schedule with tourist attractions, I chose to experience the rhythm of the city. From the breeze by the harbor to meeting the Little Prince on the hillside, this city exudes a special kind of gentleness, hidden among its slopes, murals, and sea breeze.
⸻
📍Gamcheon Culture Village
The colorful houses scattered across the hillside resemble a village straight out of a fairytale book. Strolling through the narrow alleys, you’ll discover various art installations and graffiti, including the iconic "Little Prince and Fox" photo spot. Standing by the hillside, gazing at the intertwining views of the harbor and city, it feels as though you’ve stepped into a fairytale world.
🚄 Transportation
【Gamcheon Culture Village】
.Take the subway to "Toseong Station" Exit 6, then transfer to city buses "2, 2-2, 1-1," etc.
.Alternatively, take a taxi from Jagalchi Market or Nampo-dong, which takes about 10–15 minutes.
🫀 Personal Thoughts
On the day I visited Gamcheon Culture Village, I decided to walk up the slope instead of taking a bus. As I climbed, I kept questioning why I insisted on walking, but reaching the top made it all worthwhile. The "Little Prince" statue was smaller than I had imagined, but seeing him sitting on the rooftop with the fox, overlooking the entire Busan harbor, was unexpectedly moving. It felt like a gentle reminder that you don’t always have to rush; sometimes, you can pause and take in the world around you.
