A walk around Dongbaek Island is healing

From Haeundae Beach, you can walk to Dongbaek Island and take in the breathtaking views of Haeundae Beach's shoreline, Oryukdo Islands, and Gwangandaegyo Bridge, all beautifully set against the shimmering emerald sea.
In the morning, there aren't many visitors, and you might only encounter a few locals out for a stroll. Each observation deck along the way is worth lingering at for a while.
I encountered several pairs of enthusiastic ajummas who kept calling out "picture." When I didn't respond, they quickly put on vests with name tags, indicating they were likely volunteers. They warmly helped me take several photos, for which I was very grateful.
Along the way, there's a marker for the Haeundae Inscription, which was carved by the 9th-century Silla scholar Choi Chi-won. It's said to be the origin of the name "Haeundae."
The path leads to the APEC Nurimaru, where you can capture both Oryukdo Islands and Gwangandaegyo Bridge in the same frame. The entire trail isn't very long, and a leisurely walk with photo stops takes about an hour, offering stunning coastal views.
