Sella Group (Gruppo del Sella / Sella massif) in the Dolomites — what it is, where it is, what you can do there, and tips (including for less‑strenuous hiking).
The Sella Group is a large, plateau‑shaped massif in the Dolomites of Northern Italy.
Piz Boè (3,152 m) is the highest peak in the Sella Group. It’s relatively accessible from Pordoi Pass via cable car + hike.
Other notable summits: Cima Pisciadù (~2,985 m), Le Mesules / Mëisules (~3,000 m), Sass Pordoi (~2,950 m), Piz da Lech de Boè, and the Sella Towers (Torri del Sella) for climbing/towers.
