A Quick Boat Trip in Mactan, Cebu

A quick boat trip to Mactan, Cebu. it was supposed to be an island hopping but we decided to stay in 1 island instead. it was so beautiful that we didnt want to leave anymore. this island was the Nalusuan Island. 30mins away from the cordova port.

We went on a trip a day before Father’s Day. From where we live in Talamban, we travelled about 50mins to go to Cordova Port. This place is where all people who wants to go Island Hopping if your boat doesnt have its own port. Some bot conpanies has their own private port.

I found the boat from an instagram post: Cebu Island Hopping Tours where we have rented a boat for P4,000 only good for 10pax. the boat is very very spacious and the bangkeros were so helpful and nice.

When we arrived Nalusuan Island, we paid an environmental fee of P100 per head. Use of tables and chairs are free of charge. They also have a comfort room but take note, they only use salt water. so if you want fresh water to wash then bring your own fresh water.
I managed to get a spot where theres enough shade so we can enjoy having our lunch without getting sunburnt. Kuya Bangkeros were so nice they even grilled our food for us.

Nalusuan Island is just so beautiful. The island was so nice. It’s so clean and peaceful. Crystal Clear water. They dont have beach area but they have a sandbar whenever its low tide. It was going high tide when we arrived. The thing i really liked about the place was its so clean even on the sea area. You wouldnt worry about sea urchins and corals or rocks when you are swimming on the sandbar area. The bangkeros says the island staff cleans the place so it is safe for people especially kids to swim in the area.

We didn’t bother doing island hopping because this island was just perfect for us. We had such amazing time there and would love to come back again.
