The Puppet Emperor's Palace of Puyi

The Puppet Emperor's Palace was slightly larger than I had imagined and not as boring as I expected. It mainly showcases Puyi's living quarters and office spaces. The museum provides an overview of Puyi's life, detailing his journey from emperor to citizen and his eventual reformation under the Communist government.
Walking through the palace, I couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy for Puyi. However, aside from being under Japanese surveillance, his material life seemed to have been quite comfortable, didn't it?
