🇨🇳 A Travelogue of the Small but Unique "Chinatown" in the Heart of Dubai Mall 🏮

While walking through Dubai Mall, I suddenly discovered a space with an Oriental feel. It's Chinatown, hidden within Dubai Mall! It's a unique space where you can experience a little China within Dubai.

📍 Location: Near the basement level of Dubai Mall (towards Grand Parking), take the escalator down and you'll see it!

🏮 Atmosphere & Interior

From the entrance, traditional Chinese lanterns and red hues catch your eye. From the vibrant neon signs, dragons and murals, to the classic architecture—it evokes the feeling of being in China. Visiting in the evening, when the lights are on, is even more atmospheric than during the day. ✨

🍜 Food & Dining

Chinatown is lined with a variety of Chinese restaurants and snack shops. When I visited, the following places were available:
• Din Tai Fung: The best xiao long bao! The broth was juicy.
• Chuan: The spicy Sichuan cuisine was mouthwatering.
• BingBox: A Taiwanese dessert shop specializing in shaved ice.

They also offer takeout, just like street food, so it's perfect for a quick bite and then some shopping.

They also sell Chinese accessories, traditional decorations, teacups, and souvenirs, making them perfect for a souvenir. The prices were surprisingly reasonable!

📸 The Best Photo Spots

The traditional lantern street in the heart of Chinatown is a must-see! The vibrant red lights and traditional architecture create a moody backdrop for some truly captivating photos. While there are no traditional Chinese costume rentals yet, the atmosphere alone is enough to create a nice atmosphere :)

A unique experience in Dubai Mall! This charming space, nestled in the heart of a Middle Eastern city, feels like a brief trip to China.

If you're tired of shopping or looking for a different atmosphere, be sure to stop by.
