Cave with a river in the gorge

#100waysoftravel Situated in a very remote location in the Chiangjiang area of Hainan, you will descover a massive cave! This cave is hidden between the mountains and the gorge. This is one of my favorite places on the island because it is quiet, it has the most spectacular views and it is sacred to the locals.
Many of the local villages on the island that lives close to the cave go inside to worship. As you walk up to the mouth of the cave, it seems to be small, however once inside the main chamber, you will notice the massive area!

🔦Take a flashlight with you (rentals are available outside)
☔️During rainy days, do wear shoes that have grip and can get dirty.

Bonus: There are two main chambers, once you walked through to the back of the first, there is a metal staircase leading you outside, follow the path to discover the next room!
