We visited Dufu Jiang Pavilion on a golden summer evening, just as the sun began to set over the Xiang River ππ―π. The pavilion stood tall and graceful, its red walls and curved rooftops glowing warmly in the fading light. Inspired by the great poet Du Fu, the space was steeped in literary charm from the carved couplets on the columns to the serene scrolls displayed inside πποΈπ.
From the top floor, we enjoyed sweeping views of the river and the Changsha skyline, with boats drifting slowly and the breeze carrying the scent of water lilies π¬οΈπ€πΊ. As night approached, lanterns lit up the corridors, and the entire pavilion took on a quiet, almost dreamlike beauty. Itβs a place where poetry, history, and the rhythm of the river come together perfect for a reflective summer stroll. β¨π§³π
