Go! Discover a hidden gem in Yenching Garden for plum blossom viewing without the crowds.

The plum blossoms in the ancient buildings of Yenching Garden have recently reached their peak bloom, a must-see for flower lovers!

As you step into the courtyard, the delicate fragrance of plum blossoms fills the air. At the back of the courtyard, three plum trees stand side by side. Among them, the Green Calyx Plum, as if touched by early spring, boasts tender green calyxes supporting pure white petals, exuding a fresh and elegant charm. Next to it, the wintersweet, with its golden blossoms covering the branches like twinkling stars, shines brightly under the winter sun. The three colors complement each other, resembling a meticulously crafted oil painting by nature, captivating the eye.

The best time for photography is recommended before 4:30 pm, when the soft light perfectly outlines the delicate textures of the plum blossoms without being too harsh. Moreover, there are relatively fewer people during this time, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful moment with the flowers without the crowds. Light-colored clothing, such as a white sweater or a light blue dress, complements the plum blossoms and enhances the overall ambiance.

On the east side of the courtyard, there is another, more vibrant red plum tree. Nestled among pavilions and towers, it echoes the gate of the Party History Museum, creating a classic and elegant scene. Every click of the shutter captures a stunning, ancient-style photo worthy of sharing on social media.

Please note that the Party History Museum is closed on Mondays. Plan your visit accordingly. While the blossoms are at their peak, visit Yenching Garden for a date with the plum blossoms and capture this winter-limited romance in your photo album.
