Have a Tang Dynasty feast in Qingguo Lane

After booking a visit to the Suzhou Museum, I thought about booking a ticket from Nanjing Station to Changzhou, and then going to Suzhou. I can visit two cities in one trip.
It only takes a little over 1 hour from Nanjing Station to Changzhou Station, which is very convenient.
Changzhou Station is in the city center. After leaving the train station 🚉, take subway 🚇 Line 1 and get off at Cultural Center Station after 2 stops. Qingguo Lane is just over 100 meters away.
As soon as you come out, you will see the Former Residence of Shi Liang.
During the Republic of China period, she was a famous lawyer in Shanghai and an active participant in the national salvation movement and the democratic movement. She was arrested and imprisoned for participating in and leading the anti-Japanese national salvation movement and was one of China's "Seven Gentlemen." In the New China period, she served as the first Minister of the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League for two sessions. She was a pioneer of judicial work and a founder of judicial administration in New China, and one of the leaders of the Chinese women's movement.
Walking past the gray brick wall, there is a hotel, and then there is the Starbucks Changzhou Qingguo Lane store, which is very distinctive.
We strolled around Qingguo Lane and had Tang Yan for lunch. The signature dish, Braised Eel with Hot Oil, tastes good and is worth a try!
