Treasure found for a Changzhou vacation! Stay in a lakeside Chinese garden—this hotel makes me want to lounge for three days!
Who would have thought! I found a divine place in Changzhou that welds "lake view + garden + pool" into one hotel. From check-in to check-out, my phone storage was instantly full of photos.
The hotel’s location is truly perfect, right on the shore of Ziyun Lake. Open the window and you see the shimmering lake surface. Wake up to birdsong in the morning, sit on the terrace at sunset—it feels like bringing the whole "natural oxygen bar" into your vacation. It’s only a half-hour drive to the city’s shopping district, so you can enjoy both bustling food scenes and peaceful quiet~
What touched me most was its Chinese garden! Green tiles and white walls, winding corridors—you feel like you’re strolling through a small Jiangnan garden. Every snap looks like a classical Chinese masterpiece, especially on rainy days when raindrops hit the lotus leaves, creating an atmosphere that’s off the charts. Sitting in the pavilion sipping tea and daydreaming, all worries just vanish!
In summer, you must hit the infinity pool! The pool is right next to the lake, with crystal-clear water. Swimming during the day feels like you’re merging with the lake, as if you’re "swimming into nature." At dusk, you can soak in the pool while watching the sunset glow—posting this on social media will have everyone asking for the address!
The rooms perfectly combine "comfort" and "aesthetics"! I stayed in a lake view room with a huge floor-to-ceiling window facing the lake. Lying in bed, you can watch the sunrise. The bedding is so soft it feels like sinking into clouds. The bathroom has a dry-wet separation and a bathtub—taking a bath and sipping a drink at night is exactly how a vacation should be!
Dining is also a total win! The breakfast variety is huge, with local snacks, made-to-order noodles, and fresh fruit all available. I recommend trying their Changzhou sesame cake—crispy outside, fragrant inside, super authentic~ For main meals, choose the lakeside restaurant, which specializes in Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine. The steamed fresh lake fish is incredibly fresh, with tender fish meat that melts in your mouth. After eating, you can take a stroll by the lake—so relaxing!
The executive lounge is a "recharging station" for workers! Afternoon tea includes quality mini cakes and coffee. In the evening, there’s Happy Hour with unlimited drinks and snacks. Sitting in the lounge overlooking the lake, whether working or chatting, feels super classy.
