Chaozhou Day Trip Guide｜Finally got to see the Yingge Dance costume change!!

After watching the Chaoshan Yingge Dance, I was really hooked!
I came to Chaozhou and decisively took a set of Yingge Dance costume change photos
I found a spot to take photos in the ancient city, and the photos turned out great!! 📸

👗 Costume change
It is recommended to find a place in advance, as many costume change shops do not have Yingge Dance costumes
Most only provide travel photography, so it is difficult to find one at the last minute

✅ Xia Shuimen
The angle on the steps of the city gate is just right to avoid the crowd
The city wall next to the building can be used to take photos of the Guangji Gate Tower behind
✅ Guangji Gate
You can take photos from the bottom to the top of the tower
Then go down to the bottom of the tower, and you can take photos of Guangji Gate on the pedestrian street opposite
✅ Dongmen Street
Dongmen Street is opposite Guangji Gate, and you can see archways all the way
Chaoji Shengbei has a door with the word "Chaozhou" on it

✅ Paifang Street
Turn from Dongmen Street to Paifang Street, where there are many food and handicraft shops
✅ Kaiyuan Temple
The red wall at the entrance has the word "Chaozhou" on it, which is a great photo spot 📷
The buildings in Kaiyuan Temple have an ancient charm, and further inside is the "Yuanlai Kaiyuan" red wall
✅ Zhenhai Tower
Chaozhou Zhenhai Tower is a short distance away and can be reached on foot

You must try the sashimi! We ate at the food stall outside the ancient city
Authentic Guantang sashimi, not fishy at all, very fresh!
Lei Ji Kway Teow and Cheong Fun are also very good 😋
