Chaozhou 2-Day 1-Night Travel Diary (Flash Traditional Food)

We found a lot of food on this trip to Teochew! We arrived in Teochew in the morning and ate immediately
However the whole city feels more elderly people play
Less young people

This time I stayed in a hotel all season although a little biased but I rented a car to get in and out very convenient! The rent is a few tens of dollars, automatically borrowed and automatically repaid, so that we can explore Teochew freely.

Roaming in the ancient city
The first stop is the ancient city of Chaozhou, which really feels like crossing through! We passed by Guangji Building. This building is really beautiful and full of history. Many tourists are taking pictures here. After that, we also went to Guangji Bridge, which is very exquisitely carved and took many beautiful photos. I went again at night and it was better at night and there was a light show to see

For lunch, we came to an authentic snack bar and tried the famous fermented chicken wings, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I ate at two beef hot pot restaurants. The soup is delicious and every bite is endless. However, one is more civilian but better the second one is famous but very expensive and very commercial

After lunch, we drove back to the electric car and felt the tranquility of Teochew.

No kidding, we tried a lot of food in one day. In addition to beef hot pot, we also tried pickled duck. I like the goose liver the most. It's so fragrant
Then tried very sweet fruit average but many choices
There is a fish noodle that is very good and very bouncy
Also the sashimi is good if you pop some more Thai spicy sauce is even better 😂😂😂😂

The most stunning thing is! ! ! ! ! ! There is a seafood shop
The mussels and shrimp I ate were the tastiest and freshest I have ever had
Not kidding I don't know why Teochew's seafood is so good maybe near the sea?

We also went to an old-fashioned dessert shop and had the traditional Teochew coconut cake and almond tea

Day 2

The next morning, we went to the Mazu Temple in Teochew.

Before returning, we went to other small shops again, bought some Teochew specialties, and finally took the car back, the ticket was about a few tens of dollars, which was not expensive.

In summary, this trip to Teochew not only ate delicious food, but also learned in depth about the local culture and history, I really look forward to exploring more next time
