Chengdu's cost-effective hotel: Mercure Chengdu East Memory

🔴 This hotel just opened in 2023 🎉, so all the facilities are brand new 🆕. Although there is a sign in the lobby welcoming Accor members 🎫, you can see Huazhu's influence everywhere else 👀. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic ❤, and the self-check-in process is very convenient 🤩.

🟠 The rooms ✨ are clean and bright ✨, following the typical Mercure style 🥰. Since it opened recently, the facilities are new and clean 🧹. The mini bar offers free soda, cola, and Sprite for guests 🥤. The robot delivery service is super fast 🤖. The bathroom is equipped with a bidet, which is highly praised 👍! The TV is huge and supports screen mirroring, which is also highly praised 👍!

🟡 The location is excellent 😃. The hotel elevator provides direct access to the University of Science and Technology subway station 🚇, and it only takes about 15 minutes by taxi to Taikoo Li shopping district and 339 🚗, which is very convenient! It also saves at least 20 minutes of travel time to the Natural History Museum and the Panda Base compared to the city center.

🟢 This is not the first time staying at a Huazhu hotel, but it is the first time experiencing a "hybrid" Mercure in China. Overall, it feels much better than Hampton and Garden, suitable for people with a limited budget but who still care about hygiene and comfort.
