Mohechi Park in the Winter Sun

Mohechi was first built in 585 AD during the reign of Emperor Wen of Sui. It was originally a large pit left over from the construction of Chengdu's inner city by Yang Xiu, the governor of Yizhou in the Sui Dynasty. In 1914, Mohechi was completely filled in and used as a military training ground. Today, it is a great place for locals to relax in the city center. The scenery is even more beautiful in the winter sun.
