The Chengdu Tianfu Art Museum, located in Tianfu Art Park in Chengdu’s Jinniu District, is a leading center for contemporary art.

Opened in 2021, the museum’s architecture is inspired by the hibiscus—the city flower of Chengdu—with a striking petal-shaped roof that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings. Covering nearly 40,000 square meters, the museum features 13 exhibition halls, along with educational spaces, a lecture hall, and an art library.

Admission is free, but visitors must make an advance reservation via the official WeChat account of the Chengdu Art Museum. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last admission at 4:30 PM, and is closed on Mondays except during public holidays. Visitors are required to present valid identification, such as a passport, upon entry.

Set in a picturesque park environment alongside other cultural landmarks, the Chengdu Tianfu Art Museum offers a dynamic and immersive experience for anyone interested in China’s modern and contemporary art scene.
