I just spent a completely different kind of weekend in Chengdu—no hectic schedules, just pure relaxation and authentic local experiences.



🌇 My Leisurely Itinerary

Afternoon: Instead of rushing to tourist spots, I relaxed comfortably in the apartment, enjoying some rare slow-living moments.

Evening: I took a stroll to Jiaozi Park and watched the Twin Towers gradually light up—the city silhouette against the night sky was absolutely breathtaking.

Night: I moved on to Tiexiangshi Temple Street for a drink in its charming, traditional setting, experiencing a different side of Chengdu's nightlife.



🍷 More Freedom Than a Standard Hotel

What truly won me over was the suite at Citadines Gaoxin Chengdu where I stayed. It offered so much more flexibility—we used the kitchen to prepare simple late-night bites whenever we wanted, with no restrictions. The separate living room was also perfect for hanging out with friends—far more comfortable and inviting than a standard hotel room.
