This hotpot is seriously next-level delicious! Nestled in the alleys of an old residential neighborhood, right next to Fei Huo’s Tuozi Restaurant, it’s a local gem where families and friends come to eat – not some flashy tourist spot.

The broth is authentic Chongqing nine-grid style, and it completely blew me away – recently become my absolute favorite! And yes, the family-approved dishes are no “dark cuisine” experiments. For example, the rice dumplings cooked in the hotpot are filled with cured meat – and they go perfectly in the broth 🔥

Don’t underestimate Dujiangyan’s hotpot scene – the flavors here surpass even the popular Chengdu spots where people queue for hours.
