Life Advice | Visit These Places Before Leaving Fuxian Lake

❤️ I did a lot of research before coming and found that the popular spots around Fuxian Lake are always crowded, with traffic jams, long queues, and no good photo spots. Here’s a route I summarized from circling the lake myself—fewer people and a better experience!

❤️ Check-in Route (one continuous route, short distances, no repeated paths)
✅ Moon Bay Wetland Park - Pink Lake Water Beach Spot 1 - Sun Bay Internet-famous Bridge - Pink Lake Water Beach Spot 2 - Internet-famous S Bay - Shuxi Lakeside Bistro - Hotel

1️⃣ Moon Bay Wetland Park (pics 1, 2, 6, 9, 16)
Just navigate directly here. It’s another great place to shoot blue jacaranda flowers and was also a filming location for "Sisters Who Make Waves 6." There’s a very photogenic lakeside beach. Friends on social media thought I went to Sanya! You can also try sailing here. Thanks to Captain “Xu Yiji” for letting me experience riding the wind and waves.

2️⃣ Pink Lake Water Beach (not the super popular one, that place is too crowded to take good photos)
✅ Navigation Spot 1 (pics 3, 7): Taiyangshan Sailing Base. You don’t need to go inside the base; you can see it right from the road. There are free parking spots along the way—just pick your favorite spot to get off and take photos.
✅ Navigation Spot 2 (pics 17, 18): Dayuan Village Shiguangyuan Fish Restaurant (pic). I ate stone pot fish here; it was fresh and delicious. The photo spot is on the second floor of the restaurant, with an unobstructed view perfect for shooting, even from a drone perspective.

3️⃣ Sun Bay Internet-famous Bridge (pic 4)
Just navigate directly here. The bridge is located high up with a wide view, allowing you to see Fuxian Lake at a glance. Take a photo here with you and Fuxian Lake in the background.

4️⃣ Internet-famous S Bay
Not far from the internet-famous bridge, this is where you can get great shots of the highway scenery.

5️⃣ Shuxi Lakeside Bistro (pics 5, 8, 11, 12)
A very atmospheric place with stunning sunset views—perfect for instant great photos. After touring around, I got hungry and chose this highly rated bistro nearby. I had their BBQ set: freshly made by the chef on-site, including Angus steak, German sausage platter, and tiger prawns that were absolutely delicious. I recommend coming a bit earlier because their Shuxi restaurant (pic 13) is also very photogenic!

❤️ Accommodation (pics 14, 15)
I stayed at Nanguo Sanqian Resort Hotel next to the bistro. Since there are many places to visit in this area and it’s not crowded, I chose this hotel for convenience. The room has an amazing unobstructed view overlooking Fuxian Lake, 24-hour butler service, and shuttle service to attractions within 1 km (internet-famous bridge, internet-famous S Bay, Pink Lake Water Beach 2, sailing base are all covered by free shuttle).

There are also different free daily activities like handmade flower arranging, making Yunnan specialty coffee, and Yunnan traditional tie-dyeing. The activities are rich and diverse, making the experience even better.
