🚦Transport: 🚘Navigate to Fuxian Lake Starry Sky Town, about 100 km from Kunming (1.5-hour drive). Recommended routes: Kunmo Expressway/Yinkun Expressway/Chengcheng Expressway/Kunming Ring Expressway/Chengyuan Expressway/Jianghua Road/Lakeside Road (passing 4 service areas and 4 gas stations). ⚠️Drive safely on the expressway!

🎫Ticket: It's essentially a sales office and model display area—free to visit, as far as I recall.

🌊Crystal-Clear Lake Waters
Fuxian Lake's water is as clear as glass, shimmering and vast, shifting through endless shades of blue under different seasons and lighting. From the light blue near the shore to the turquoise clarity in the middle and the deep sapphire at the center, it’s utterly mesmerizing.

🏞️Stunning Luchong Scenic Area
Bijia Mountain is an easy hike, even for kids. Ancient temples and uniquely shaped boulders dot the trail, offering breathtaking views of the azure lake below.
The lakeside fish caves and ancient trees are perfect for photography! From Golden Sand Beach to Bijia Mountain, Couple Tree, and Boxi Bay, the entire area can be explored leisurely in half a day.
Ticket: 15 RMB. Ample parking available.

🚣‍♀️Boating & Water Fun Close to Nature
Surrounded by lush mountains, Fuxian Lake is picturesque, with small boats gliding across its surface. Renting a boat, collecting stones by the shore, or digging in the sand are all wonderfully relaxing.

🍜Fuxian Lake Cuisine
Don’t miss the lake’s famous fish dishes! Try the copper pot fish, copper pot potato rice, small-pot rice noodles, and braised pork trotters—all deliciously fresh.

🛎Tips:
1️⃣No reservation was needed when I visited, but check current policies.
2️⃣The lakeside reeds and flowers are incredibly photogenic, especially in July during bloom—just point and shoot for great shots. There are also kid-friendly play facilities for extra fun.
3️⃣Located at the southernmost tip of Fuxian Lake, it features an RV camping ⛺️ base, town landmarks, and small shops (like cafés), with decent amenities.
4️⃣All projects around Fuxian Lake were halted due to environmental protection measures, including Starry Sky Town. I visited in July 2020—this is just a reference, not a recommendation. Check if property sales have resumed before planning your trip.
