The pinnacle of Chiang Mai's splendor! Wat Phra Singh

This 14th-century Buddhist temple is arguably the most dazzling temple in Chiang Mai.

Famous for its golden pagoda, Wat Phra Singh is located west of the Old Town and is free to visit.
It's open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Since there's a school nearby, it's often crowded with parents picking up students, students, tourists, and monks, making it difficult to take photos. Avoid visiting around 3:00 PM, when school is over.

Visitors can also walk around the pagoda and offer prayers. You can also purchase a golden bell, write your wishes on it, and hang it on a ring to pray.

There are also many charming cafes nearby, so be sure to stop by one on your way back!

It's said that King Payu of the Lanna Kingdom built it to enshrine his father's remains.
