Go to Chiang Mai with your child! There are many temples in Chiang Mai city, so parents and children can enjoy visiting them together. Doi Suthep can take more than an hour one way, so it is recommended that children use the restroom, take motion sickness medication, and prepare food. Also, if you use a songthaew, it is quite a mountain road, so if you have children, we recommend taking a leisurely taxi arranged in advance.

Wat Chedi Luang
A magnificent temple in the center of Chiang Mai Old Town. It is characterized by a huge pagoda (chedi) where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined. It is a spectacular ruin that gives you a sense of history.

Wat Phra Singh
A prestigious temple built in the 14th century, with beautiful Lanna-style architecture as a highlight. There is a Buddha statue called "King Lei Buddha", and it is especially crowded with many worshippers during Thai New Year (Songkran).

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
The most famous temple in Chiang Mai. Located on top of Mount Suthep at an altitude of 1,080m, it is a scenic spot with a panoramic view of the city. The golden pagoda is impressive.
