🎯 Review of a chic photo spot “Old Chang Moi Road”, Chiang Mai
Old Chang Moi Road, connecting Tha Pae and Kad Luang, is a charming old area that still retains Sino-European buildings. There are also dozens of handmade corners from honey rattan weaving shops, which have become a charm for cafe lovers to stop by and enjoy shopping for bags, hats, or hammocks for 250–600 baht.
Favorite corners to check in:
In front of the Honey Rattan shop, one of the most popular spots that tourists should not miss.
- There are rattan works lined up as a beautiful Instagram photo backdrop.
- Small alleys around the area have built-in weaving shops, old building walls, and retro window frames — a classic and cool vibe.
In addition to the photo spot of the weaving shop on the street corner, there is also a coffee shop opposite that I would like to recommend. Good coffee, good atmosphere.
☕️ “Brewginning” coffee shop, opposite the weaving shop
Not far from the Honey Rattan shop, you will find Brewginning, a drip coffee cafe that has given new life to old shophouses on the street corner. Both the exposed concrete area and the cool wooden furniture are a perfect match.
Old Chang Moi Road + Brewginning shop combines the charm of old Chiang Mai and cool industrial style in one location.
