This Chiang Mai trip, we didn't come to visit... we came to eat.

Let's get hungry together!

Let's start at 📍Moo Yim Jim Jum, Chiang Mai's legendary pork dipping restaurant. This restaurant is popular among both Thais and foreigners. Its distinctive feature is its traditional clay pot, a rare find these days. And the must-try highlight is the uniquely soft and chewy glass noodles.

Next, we'll head to 📍Kue Q Suki Lo To, behind Chiang Mai University. This restaurant is a favorite among students, offering a slightly sweet flavor. We recommend trying both the soup and the dry version. The queue may be long, but it's definitely delicious!

Ma La lovers, don't miss it!
📍Hao Xian Si Chuan Chuan Xian (Mala Pork Dipping with Beer, Branch 2) This restaurant is perfect for hanging out with friends. They serve ice-cold beer and generous snacks, making every bite a delight.

Another must-try mala restaurant is 📍Ma La Siri, a roadside cart located near Makro on Siri Mang Road. It's clean, reasonably priced, and their seafood dipping sauce is amazing! We recommend ordering ahead and then coming back to get it, as the queue is always long. But don't worry, the staff is excellent at memorizing orders.

Krapow lovers, this is a must-try! 📍Beef and Beef Pad Krapow (Krapow with Holy Basil) behind Chiang Mai University. This restaurant is "all the right ingredients," with jasmine rice, crispy fried eggs, fragrant fish sauce, and basil made with only holy basil leaves. I give it a ten out of ten.

This comfort food restaurant 📍 Yaowarat Pork Rib Porridge is perfect for all ages and families. Their recommended dish is the dry rice porridge, served with fragrant broth. Don't forget to order another plate of crispy pork. It's guaranteed to be delicious! They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice for a refreshing palate cleanse. There's also plenty of other food options in the same alley, so you can walk all the way.

Next up, for dessert: 📍 Merry Bonbon – This shaved ice shop sells seasonal fruits. The owner makes every bowl himself. The atmosphere is warm and charming. The menu changes seasonally. Be sure to follow their Facebook page before stopping by. It's a great way to cool off.

For international foodies, don't miss:

📍 Lucky's Vietnamese Restaurant – Authentic Hanoi-style bun cha, with flavors as authentic as those found in Vietnam.

📍 Adirak Pizza – A popular pizza restaurant among both tourists and locals.

📍 Sanmai Ramen – Craft ramen by a local Chiang Mai resident with multiple branches. The noodles are chewy and soft. The soup is rich and flavorful, just like the ones in Japan.
