Worship the sacred things | Wat Sri Suphan | Chiang Mai

Wat Sri Suphan is located on Wualai Road, Tambon Hai Ya, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. It was built in 2043.

It is over 500 years old and was built during the reign of King Mueang Kaew, the King of Chiang Mai, and Queen Siriyaswadi, the Queen Mother, who ordered Maha Amat Chao Muen Luang Cha Kham to build a temple called Wat Sri Suphan Aram, later shortened to Wat Sri Suphan. It is the first silver chapel in the world, built by the villagers with the intention of preserving the silverware of the Wualai community and is also a famous silver handicraft community in Chiang Mai Province.

There are many sacred objects to worship and ask for blessings, such as King Rama V, Chao Ya Dararasmi, Ganesha, Thao Wessuwan, and Guan Yin.
