I had the opportunity to visit Chiang Mai at the beginning of the rainy season, when the air was fresh and free of PM2.5 dust. I had the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll around the old city of Chiang Mai.
.. Starting with paying respects to the Three Kings Monument, King Mangrai, King Ngam Mueang, and King Ramkhamhaeng, at the old Chiang Mai Provincial Hall.
.. Then, walk to Wat Chiang Man, the first temple in Chiang Mai, to admire the beauty of the original Lanna architecture.
.. Wat Chedi Luang, worship the Inthakhil pillar for good fortune.
.. Wat Phan Tao, the royal temple and the beautiful golden pagoda.
.. Wat Phra Singh, worship the Phra Buddha Sihing, which is revered by the Lanna people of Chiang Mai.
