Wat Rong Suea Ten (BlueTemple)
.. Located in Rong Suea Ten Village, Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, it is located on the banks of the Kok River. In the past, this place was the location of an abandoned temple 80-100 years ago. According to the stories of the elders, at that time there were not many houses and people living there, so there were many wild animals, especially tigers. Villagers who passed through that area often saw tigers jumping across the canal, so they called this area "Rong Suea Ten" and called the nearby village "Ban Rong Suea Ten".
.. Currently, the temple has been renovated and renovated. There are beautiful religious buildings, focusing on blue and gold, making it outstanding. It is a check-in point for tourists visiting Chiang Rai.
.. In addition, the temple has also created an area to build the Sukhantharat Museum, which collects the history of the temple from faith, belief in Buddhism, culture, cooperation of the people, and more.
.. The museum is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is free of charge.
