Chiayi Park is located on the outskirts of Chiayi City. There is a shrine built during the Japanese colonial period and a sunshade tower that offers a panoramic view of the city. The shrine is now called Showa 18 J18, and displays some of the history of Chiayi City. There is a cafe inside the building, so you can spend some relaxing time there. There is a fee to enter the sunshade tower, but the top floor is a place where the breeze blows through, so you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city while feeling the pleasant breeze. Local people spend their time relaxing here, and I felt that it is a park loved by many people.
