Qujiang Lake 🌺

On a warm summer afternoon, we strolled along the banks of Qujiang Lake, where willow trees dipped lazy fingers into the water and families picnicked under colorful umbrellas. Paddleboats drifted by, their passengers laughing as they splashed each other, while the lake mirrored drifting clouds and the elegant rooftops of nearby pavilions. The air was rich with the scent of grilled squid and fresh melon from vendors lining the walkways. 🌳🚣♀️🍈

As dusk settled, lanterns blinked on one by one, tracing glowing paths around the lake. Couples wandered hand in hand, pausing to watch tiny fishing boats bob in the soft current. We found a quiet bench to take it all in, Xi’an’s old soul reflected beautifully in this peaceful, shimmering water under the tender summer sky. 🌅🏮💧
