Ban Mae Klang Luang is another popular destination and accommodation in Doi Inthanon National Park.

Ban Mae Klang Luang is a village inhabited by the Karen ethnic group, particularly the Pga K'nyau (Pga K'nyau) who make a living as rice farmers. If you visit during the rice-growing season, September to October, you'll be treated to the vibrant green rice fields that descend on the mountainsides. In November, the golden rice fields are ready for harvest.

Ban Mae Klang Luang also offers homestay accommodations for visitors to Doi Inthanon or Pa Pong Piang. Guests can enjoy a relaxing rice-field atmosphere. There's also a restaurant, a coffee shop, and the Somsak Coffee Roasting House, where you can sample coffee and purchase souvenirs. Locally grown rice is also available for purchase at affordable prices.
