Exploring Guangxi's "Blade Mountain" - A Hidden Gem Revealed

Hey everyone, today I’m sharing an incredibly unique and lesser-known spot hidden in Xiawei Village, Beijingtown, Dahua, Hechi, Guangxi — the summit of Blade Mountain! 🎯

The name of this mountain is super descriptive. From a distance, it looks like a thin blade standing straight up on the mountain, hence the name "Blade Mountain." There’s also a communication base station on the mountain 📡 Locals usually call it the transmitter or relay station. Standing at the top, the cell signal is incredibly strong, like connecting to a super WiFi. The usual frustration of poor signal on iPhones in the mountains instantly disappears, and video uploading speeds soar! 🤩

🧗‍♂️ How to climb up?
After navigating to Xiawei Village, don’t just look for the basketball court by the roadside — it’s actually hidden inside the village. If you can’t find it, just ask the friendly villagers. Next to the basketball court, there’s a tractor path, which is the “secret passage” up the mountain. But if it’s your first time, be sure to check the route on the “Two Steps” app and don’t blindly follow the path, or you might easily get lost. I learned this the hard way — the mountain trails are complex, and some sections are overgrown with bushes, making the path very unclear. 😣

⛰️ How difficult is the climb?
Overall, it’s a casual hike, but the slope gets a bit steep near the summit. Generally, it takes about 50 to 60 minutes to reach the top. Once you’re there, the view opens up instantly, and the gentle breeze feels like it blows away all your fatigue.
