Pitfall: Don’t come in the afternoon, backlight makes faces dark, and it’s crowded with photographers

2. Shuanglang Ancient Town Yujidao Island 🏡
Address: Yujidao Island, Shuanglang Town, Dali City
Go to the viewing platform opposite "Sun Palace and Moon Palace" (free)
Shoot Bai ethnic houses + panoramic Erhai Lake, better value than paying for attractions!
Pitfall: Don’t bother with "paid photos" in the ancient town, 20 yuan per photo and not as good as your phone

3. Xizhou Ancient Town Rice Fields 🌾
Address: Chengbei Village, Xizhou Town, Dali City
Green from June to August, golden from September to October

Pitfall: Don’t step into the rice fields! Villagers will charge 50 yuan "compensation fee"
