Hell Valley, a must-see landmark when visiting Hokkaido!

#TravelJapan
For those who are planning to travel to #Hokkaido to experience the white snow during Winter, don't miss this place!
👉 Jigokudani Hell Valley (Hell Valley), a very hot landmark in Noboribetsetsu.

👹 Why is it called "hell"? :
Because this place is the origin of hot springs (Onsen), so there is smoke + a slight smell of sulfur all the time. And this smoke is what makes Hell Valley even more beautiful and charming. The admin recommends that you really have to come. ❤

📌 Jigokudani Hell Valley (Hell Valley), Noboribetsu, Hokkaido
💰 Free admission
🚍 How to get there
- Take the JR to Noboribetsu Station (from Sapporo, it takes about 1 hour)
- Then take the Donan bus in front of the JR station to get off at the Noboribetsu Onsen stop (the noticeable stop where many people get off). It takes about 15 minutes and costs 350 yen.
- After getting off the bus, you can walk to Hell Valley. Along the way, there are many places to stop and take pictures, such as the giant baton field with hot springs, giant statues and various animals. It takes about 15 minutes to walk.

💬
- Not far from Sapporo, can be organized as a one-day trip.
- Can stop by as a stop before traveling to/from Hakodate (I also stopped by on the way from Sapporo-Hakodate).
- If you have time, I recommend staying overnight to try the hot springs at Hokkaido's famous hot springs.
