Found my dream stay in Dali! The newly opened Six Zhao Mountain View Holiday in 2025 is nestled on the cliffs of Haidong Town, offering a 270° panoramic view of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake right outside the window. The air is filled with a romantic mist from the water.

The wooden structure blends with a wabi-sabi aesthetic, and every corner of the public area is Instagram-worthy — the reflection of clouds in the scenic pool, old stone paths that tell stories, and cacti stretching their spines in the courtyard. Lying in the bedding feels like sinking into a cloud.

My favorite is the cliffside infinity pool, where the water meets the sky. Relaxing on the lounge chairs, you can see Cangshan Mountain reflected in the rippling waves, and during sunset, the golden-red hues of the evening glow paint the lake. Every snapshot looks like a vacation masterpiece. The 24-hour butler service is incredibly thoughtful, offering free airport transfers and itinerary planning. In the evening, they provide warm goodnight milk, and in the morning, you're awakened by the sound of waves. Enjoy the sunrise kissing Erhai Lake from the terrace — even daydreaming becomes a pleasure here.
