[Dalian: Romantic Fragments Falling into Azure]

Who knows! Every sunset in Dalian feels like a kiss from the sea~ I just returned from this coastal city with its own background music and compiled a 4-day, 3-night immersive guide, with the seaside filter turned all the way up!

🏙️ [Where to stay?]
✔️Xi'an Road business district is really great! It's 10 minutes to the subway, and a taxi to Xinghai/Venice costs only about 15 RMB. I highly recommend a room with a view of the neon night scene from the window. Watching the traffic on the cross-sea bridge at night is super healing~

📸️ [Healing moments by the sea]
▫️Xinghai Square: Wait for an orange soda-flavored sunset, chase kites along the coastline, and there's an old man singing "Ode to the Sea, My Hometown" under the lighthouse.
▫️Fisherman's Wharf: Blue and white houses + orange sunset = pretending to be in Greece! Buy 10 RMB of squid on the shore to feed the seagulls, the sound of their wings flapping is super healing.
▫️Lingjiaowan: Hidden spot! Walk the boardwalk at low tide at 5pm, seaweed and shells bloom into impressionist paintings in the cracks of the rocks.

Bloody lesson learned👉 Haizhiyue Park doesn't look big, but it's all uphill! I doubted my life walking in canvas shoes... Bangchuidao requires a ticket, but the beach is soft and fluffy. I recommend renting a parasol and lying down for an afternoon.

✅Xinghai Square "Yi Xian Yi Jiao": The sea urchin dumplings burst with yellow when you bite into them! The shrimp dumplings hide a whole Liaodong sea cucumber.
✅Xi'an Road "Nuomixiang": 38 RMB crab roe pan-fried buns, be warned of the golden soup that bursts out when you bite into them!
✅Venice Water City "Rich&Liberty": 100 RMB per person for the atmosphere, the window seat has the cross-sea bridge as a backdrop, and the steak is cooked just right.
❌Avoid: The Russian cuisine in Russian Style Street has small portions and high prices. It's better to buy a 5 RMB grilled cold noodle at the entrance of Labor Park.
