Introducing Sanjia Village

Sanjia Village is a small village in the Lugu Lake Scenic Area. It is one of the three major villages close to Lugu Lake and the first village you arrive at when entering Lugu Lake. There is an inn and a pier here where you can take a boat tour of the lake and feel the sunshine and blue sky and white clouds.

At the Sanjiacun Wharf, many pig trough boats are docked. These were once feed boats, but now they are tourist boats. A few kilometers away from the wharf, in the center of the lake, lies a small island called Liwubi Island. You can take a boat to the island, where you can find the Liwubi Temple, a major attraction on Lugu Lake. Getting there requires manual rowing, and the boatmen work very hard.
