🌄 Immersive Tibetan Lunch & Local Culture at Kangba Folk Village | Daocheng 稻城

After a crisp mountain morning in Daocheng, I had the chance to slow down and enjoy a truly memorable Tibetan-style lunch at the Kangba Folk Village. 💛

🍲 The highlight? A complimentary Axi Clay Pot Fragrant Chicken Feast (阿西土陶藏香鸡宴) – simmered in rustic earthenware using free-range Tibetan chicken, paired with wild mushrooms, soft Tibetan buns, chewy qingke barley pancakes, and a splash of local barley wine. Unlimited seasonal greens completed the hearty spread. 🥬🍗🍄

After lunch, we are allowed to explore the other parts of the houses and look at their housing decorations and artifacts. We can also buy silverware and TCM herbs if we wanted.

🧘♀️ A beautiful moment of stillness, flavour, and connection with the Kangba way of life. Worth every bite and breath.
