1. Lower expectations for Mingshi Pastoral: Don't set them too high! The scenery resembles ordinary wheat fields with small karst formations, and the area is quite compact. For more wild and exciting karst landscapes and pastoral views, Nonggang Nature Reserve and Dongnayu Bay are far superior! Kids will love hiking, cave exploring, and wildlife spotting. Just snap a quick photo if passing by Mingshi.
2. Detian Waterfall navigation trap: Never navigate directly to "Visitor Center"! It's still 10km from the actual entrance! Savvy drivers should navigate to "Yuemuniang Delicious Restaurant" right next to the ticket checkpoint! Park and walk in to save time and energy.
