The main hall is currently in a temporary state due to major renovations for the first time in 124 years, and the roof is a forest.
It was designed by architect Sou Fujimoto

I went in June, when the hydrangeas were blooming, and the forest in the main hall was beautifully green🌳
It was a bit cloudy, so it would have been even more beautiful if it had been sunny~
