[Dazaifu] Walking and eating your way through Dazaifu

There are many attractive shops along the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine ♡

This time, I had lunch, so I walked around a little bit to eat.

I had Tenzan's "Amaou Strawberry Dango", which I've always wanted to try 🍓

Umegae Mochi is Kikuchi's Umegae Mochi.

I always buy it here.

If you ask for it as is, you can eat it freshly baked, not wrapped in plastic wrap.

When I visited, Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine was preparing for the first major renovation of the main hall in 124 years, the Reiwa era. This is something you don't see very often, so I made it a memorable experience. There are many Umegae Mochi shops along the approach to the shrine, selling rice crackers, cheesecake, Mont Blanc, and other items that will make you want to eat.
