#FukuokaItinerary
The morning mist had not yet dissipated as I strolled along the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. The shops on both sides exude the aroma of fresh plum cakes, mixed with the rustic woody scent, outlining a classic and tranquil picture. Passing through the vermilion torii and climbing up the stairs, the main hall of the shrine gradually comes into view, with its flying eaves and pointed corners contrasting with the lush green mountains and forests. In front of the main hall, wooden prayer signs are densely hung among the trees, like a forest carrying dreams and expectations. I gently scooped up the clear water in my hands to purify my body and mind, then bowed down before God with all my heart, praying for wisdom and peace. The plum blossoms are in full bloom in a corner of the courtyard, with pale pink and pure white complementing each other, as if whispering ancient poems. In the evening, the setting sun casts a golden veil over Tenmangu Shrine, and the birds' singing becomes clearer. I left with deep emotion. Dazaifu, with its elegance and tranquility, added a poetic and spiritual moment to my journey.
