Most of our trips to Japan require us to visit important landmarks in the city. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is another landmark in Fukuoka. In addition to praying to the gods, this shrine also has a beautiful natural garden that is worth a walk.

Starting from the entrance to the shrine, we come to the bridge of the past, present, and future, which has a garden in the pond and the entrance to the shrine. No matter where you look, it is green and pleasing to the eyes. Each tree is old and well-maintained. Any tree that is leaning over will be supported.

Walking further in, you will find a large garden at the back with beautiful and unusually shaped trees. It is extremely shady. You will never get bored walking around the garden and looking at the plants. It is another charm of Japan.
