A Thousand Years of History: Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka is dedicated to Tenjin, the deity of learning and culture. Established in 919, it is one of the largest shrines in Japan that worships the god of learning, ranking among the top three.
