DAZAIFU-FUK

Dazaifu is a small town near Fukuoka, rich in historical and cultural charm. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is a popular destination for tourists and Japanese students seeking blessings for academic success.
The pedestrianized streets of the old town are lined with souvenir shops and the famous grilled mochi (umegae mochi).
🚆 How to get there: By train (recommended)
Starting at Hakata Station (Fukuoka)
→ Take the JR Kagoshima Line to Futsukaichi Station
(~15 minutes)
Walk for about 5 minutes to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station
→ Transfer to the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Line to Dazaifu Station
(~5 minutes)
